Where do I come from?

Although born in the very South-West of Europe I received most of my schooling near Heidelberg. But really this question is more difficult than it seems as my family and I love traveling and lived in very different places already.

What am I doing here?

I'm trying to get some research done in the ratpack project ;-) So I'm doing a lot of work on sensor networks and delay/disruption tolerant networking..

What is my favorite protocol?

TCP!!! Well, the reason for that lies in my diploma thesis. But there are a lot of other cool protocols. For some reason, I came to like SOCKS, too ;-)

Aside from working in the department, what else do I do?

I love traveling and languages... Aside from that I do some martial arts (Kali and Escrima) and play the guitar ;-)
